Patty

Office Manager

Patty was born and raised in Colorado.  Her interest in horses started at a very young age and has remained an integral part of her life ever since!  She loves animals of all kinds and has always enjoyed having them and working with them.   Around age 9, she got her first horse, joined 4-H and further developed her love for all things equine!

As a young girl, she had aspirations to be a veterinarian.  However, life took a different course, steering away from veterinary medicine and turning toward human medicine.  She worked her way through nursing school and was employed for over 20+ years as a critical care RN.  She held positions in surgical/neuro, medical, and cardiac ICU, emergency department, PACU,  and as a flight nurse on a medical helicopter.

After feeling compelled to explore different career options, she hung up the nursing cap and entered into veterinary assistant and customer service for a small animal facility.  Having worked for 7 years there, it was challenging and rewarding.  She enjoys continually learning, loves the science of medicine, and helping others through their health journey.

Throughout life, the common theme has been involved with caring for others.  To have the opportunity to join this amazing team has been a true blessing!  I hope to continue to grow and thrive as I connect with others whose life centers around horses and share in the passion of all things equine!

When she is not working, she enjoys being at home, spending time with family, catching up with grandkids, gardening (trying to make things grow), and spending time with her menagerie of horses, cows, goats, chickens, cats and dogs.
