About
Rebecca Reddington
Office Manager
Rebecca was born in Southern California, and raised in Northern Colorado. Her love for animals began in 4H where she participated in raising & showing rabbits, goats and cattle. Following her graduation from high school, she moved back to Southern California and it was there that her passion for working with animals flourished.
She started work as a Kennel Assistant in South Los Angeles, and worked her way up to a Veterinary Assistant at another veterinary hospital, where she stayed until the 2017 tragic passing of her mentor and boss, Dr. Mike Zareski. She found herself needing to try something new and began working as a manager for a pet grooming business. She also worked part time assisting a veterinarian at Hearts & Halos At-Home Pet Euthansia. During her time in California, she also volunteered at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach working with the Program Animals.
Recently, Rebecca moved back to Northern Colorado to be closer to family. After a short stint at VCA in Fort Collins, she is looking forward to joining the FREP team as Office Manager and expanding her equine knowledge, while bringing her management experience and love for animals.
She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology Program to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, and would like to then specialize in her other interest, Veterinary Forensics. In Rebecca’s free time, you can find her spending time with family & friends, hiking, fishing, attending country music concerts, relaxing at home and spending time outdoors with her Goldendoodle, Cramer.
